ARKPORT MEN HELP ASSESS SOLAR OPTIONS
Roy Butler and Dave Cain, of Four Winds Renewable Energy (Arkport) were in Lake Ariel, Pa. recently. The reason SEEDS....Sustainable Energy Education and Development Support.....of Northeast Pennsylavania. SEEDS was kicking off a new mentoring program that is "aimed at preparing interested individuals to harvest thier own share of the rising green market". Roy and Dave evaluated and assessed possible locations for locating solar panels by conducting shading analyses, and examining tree removal and powerline setbacks to create final recommendations for panel sighting.
There will be another photovoltiac workshop on mMarch 25 through March 27. SEEDS is lookinh for installers and maintainers ready when the "green" money is released.
