Williamsville Resident Denied Alcohol Sale Just Prior to Aggravated DWI Arrest
Clarence based Troopers arrested TIMOTHY J. MILLER, age 43, of Williamsville Friday afternoon on a charge of Aggravated DWI after being alerted by a local liquor store clerk. The clerk contacted Troopers after refusing to sell alcohol to MILLER who appeared to be highly intoxicated. Troopers were provided with a license plate number, vehicle description and direction of travel which allowed for MILLER’S quick apprehension on Palmdale Road in the Town of Amherst.
MILLER was processed at the Clarence Station where a breath test revealed his blood alcohol content (BAC) to be .36%, more than 4 times the legal limit, a level which could cause serious medical complications. MILLER was transported to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital for evaluation and observation.
MILLER is scheduled to answer the charge in Amherst Town Court on 5/10/10
Troopers credit the liquor store clerk with taking immediate action which aided in removing a dangerous driver from our highways.Like what you read? Consider Buying us a Cup of Coffee! Only $2...Thanks
