(Watertown, NY - March 08, 2010) samra 240x300     Domestic Dispute leads to Arson arrest of Watertown manThe State Police in Watertown arrested Gurdip Samra 05/14/65, 15702 Pheasant Run Rd, Watertown for Arson 5th degree and 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a child. Investigation revealed that during a domestic dispute, Samar lit a Valentines Day present that he had given his wife on fire by using the stove in the kitchen of the residence. The act by Samar caused the house to fill with smoke. Samar then refused to let the wife exit the residence with the couples 16yo and 11 yo sons. The Town of Watertown Fire Department responded to ventilate the residence. Gurdip was arraigned in the Town of Watertown Court and remanded to the Jefferson County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail.
