GOSHEN MAN ARRESTED FOR CRIMINAL POSSESSION FOLLOWING TRAFFIC STOP ON I-84

On March 6, 2010, State Police at New Hampton - Troop T patrol stopped a vehicle for speeding (81/65) on I-84 in the Town of Newburgh, Orange County. Upon stopping the vehicle the driver was found to be operating with a suspended driver’s license. Troopers then file checked the passenger MATTHEW L. MAZZELLA, age 32 of Goshen, NY which showed an active arrest warrant for Criminal Impersonation 2nd out of State Police Middletown – Troop F. Further investigation revealed MAZZELLA was in possession of Drug paraphernalia and several packs of Heroin. MAZZELLA was issued an appearance ticket returnable in Town of Newburgh Ct on March 22, 2010 at 1pm and turned over to Troop F – Middletown on the warrant charges.
