On March 4, 2010, a crash on the Northway resulted in one driver, David Sofer, of Albany, NY suffering critical injuries and being transported to Albany Medical Center. Sofer was recently upgraded to serious condition. The other driver, Darlene Gamache, of Hudson Falls, was arrested for Speeding, Reckless Driving and Unsafe Lane Change.
