On 01/31/12 the New York State Police at Livingston arrested Matthew Gamache, age 34, of 108 Mountainview Ave, Renssalaer NY for Criminal Contempt 2nd and Harassment 2nd. Gamache was arrested after he was sending harassing text messages to an ex-girlfriend in violation of a previously issued order of protection. He was processed at SP Kinderhook and arraigned in Stuyvesant Court where he was released, to reappear there on 02/01/12.

SP Jamestown – Out of State residents arrested for Felony Weapon Possession

On February 1^st, 2012, Troopers JOHN BURRIS and JASON CRESANTI interviewed truck driver NIKITA BOBOLJOV, 21, of Orlando, Florida, during a routine inspection at the Ellery Overlook on Interstate 86. While searching the cab, Trooper CRESANTI located a loaded Glock 22, .40 caliber handgun and metal knuckles. BOBOLJOV stated the metal knuckles belonged to him and MARINA FLORIANOVICH, 23, of Spokan, Washington, admitted the handgun belonged to her. Both subjects were arrested for Criminal Possession of a Weapon 2^nd Degree (felony) and Criminal Possession of a Weapon 4^th Degree. Both subjects were transported to SP Jamestown where the were processed, arraigned in the Town of Ellery Court and remanded to the Chautauqua County Jail.

On 02/04/12 the New York State Police at Livingston arrested Justin Fields, age 23, of 113 Maple Avenue, Catskill for Criminal Possession of Marihuana 3rd degree(E Felony), DWAI Drugs and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation 2nd degree. Fields was stopped for VTL violations on Warren Street in the City of Hudson. He was found to be driving with a suspended license, to be impaired by drugs while driving, and to possess approximately one pound of marihuana. He was processed at SP Livingston and released on Appearance Tickets returnable to the City of Hudson Court on 02/14/12.

On 02/03/12 the New York State Police at Livingston arrested Ryan Vaughtele, age 17, of 351 Roxbury Road Hudson NY for Reckless Endangerment 2nd. He was arrested after he attempted to cause a car he was a passenger in to crash by grabbing the steering wheel and pulling on it. He was processed at SP Livingston and arraigned in Claverack Court. He will reappear there at a later date.

On 02/02/12 the New York State Police at Livingston arrested Lance Fongemie, age 27, of 2240 State 9, Livingston for Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd and Disorderly Conduct. Troopers were called to a residence in Livingston for a report of an intoxicated male banging on the front door of a local residence. Troopers responded and found Fongemie who was intoxicated, belligerent and refused to comply with orders. He was arrested, processed at SP Livingston and arraigned in Taghkanic Court where he was released to reappear in Livingston Town Hall on 02/02/12.

On 01/28/11 the New York State Police at Livingston arrested Christopher Brown Jr., age 24, of 150 Old Manorton Road, Elizaville for Petit Larceny. Brown was arrested for stealing metal from a local property owner to sell for scrap. He was charged with Petit Larceny, arraigned in Greenport Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail in lieu of $500 bail.

Nielson was arrested after being stopped on Columbia Turnpike in the Town of Greenport for VTL violations and was found to be intoxicated. She was processed at SP Livingston and released on tickets returnable to Greenport Town Court on 01/13/12.

On February 4^th, 2012, members of the New York State Police and the Kennedy Fire Department responded to a personal injury auto accident on Interstate 86 in the Town of Poland. Investigation revealed that JOSEPH LINDQUIST, 23, of Cherry Creek, was traveling east in the right lane behind SHERRY RICHARDS, 53, of Jamestown, when LINDQUIST attempted to pass RICHARDS, utilizing the left lane. LINDQUIST then, in a reckless manner, re-entered the right lane and struck the rear driver side of RICHARDS’ vehicle, causing RICHARDS to strike the guard rail. RICHARDS was airlifted to Hamot Medical Center in Erie, PA with a severe head injury, and LINDQUIST was issued tickets for Speed not Reasonable and Moving From Lane Unsafely. LINDQUIST was not injured as a result of the collision, and RICHARDS’ current condition is unknown.

On 01/26/12 the New York State Police at Livingston arrested Joshua Schermerhorn, age 32, of 100 Swiss Farms Rd, Hudson NY for Felony DWAI Drugs and Unlawful Possession of Marihuana. He was arrested after being stopped on State Route 66in Ghent for VTL violations. He was found to be impaired by drugs. Schermerhorn was processed without incident and released on tickets returnable to the Town of Ghent Court on 02/06/12.

Last month, the New York State Police in Niagara arrested Amy Pitts, 37, of Lewiston, NY, on charges of Grand Larceny 3^rd, a Class D Felony, after in investigation into missing funds from a bank account belonging to the Lewiston-Porter Community Cheerleaders. The President of the cheerleader group, Natalie Sansivero, contacted the State Police after an end of year audit for 2011 showed almost $5,000.00 missing from the account. The investigation led to Ms. Pitts who was the treasure of the organization at the time. Ms. Pitts had been using the organization

’s debit card for personal expenditures. The matter is currently pending in the Town of Lewiston Court. Anyone with questions regarding this investigation should contact Sgt Kevin Anger at 297-0756.
