On Sunday around 11:30 PM, deputies responded to a four-vehicle crash on East Henrietta Road under the Brighton Henrietta Town Line Road overpass, in the Town Of Henrietta. East Henrietta Road is a four lane roadway, two lanes for northbound traffic, two lanes for southbound traffic; northbound and southbound lanes are separated by two yellow lines.

Two vehicles were stopped along the east side of the roadway on the curb side in the north-bound lane. One vehicle, a Dodge SUV was facing northbound, the second vehicle, a Saturn SUV, was facing southbound, as individuals were attempting to jump start the first vehicle. Both vehicles were unoccupied, all four occupants were outside the vehicles. One of the occupants, 18-year-old Kadilac Mapana was standing between the two vehicles. The other three occupants, 20-year-old Samuel Hagos, 52-year-old Jeanbirego Rubingu and 20-year-old George Rubingu were standing on the sidewalk next to the vehicles.

A third vehicle, a Jeep SUV was travelling north bound in the right lane of East Henrietta Rd. The driver (sole occupant) 22-year-old, Amanda Calieri, said she did not see the vehicles in the roadway. Calieri stuck the southern most vehicle, which then struck Kadilac Mapana. This southern most vehicle was then pushed into the vehicle in front of it. Calieri’s vehicle swung into the left passing lane of East Henrietta Rd while flipping onto it’s roof and striking a fourth passing vehicle being driven by 58-year-old, James Tanski.

As a result of the initial collision, the three people standing near the cars on the sidewalk were injured. Samuel Hagos, Jeanbirego Rubingu and George Rubingu received minor injuries. Kadilac Mapana, who was standing between the vehicles, appeared to suffer a broken leg.

Samuel Hagos, Jeanbirego Rubingu, George Rubingu and Kadilac Mapana were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital for evaluation and treatment.

Calieri was transported to Rochester General Hospital for minor injuries

The driver of the fourth vehicle was not injured.
