Operation Impact Troopers make two warrant arrests Thursday night

Troopers assigned to OPERATION IMPACT in the City of Buffalo, make two warrant arrests Thursday night:
Troopers stopped a blue Pontiac minivan for the driver not wearing a seatbelt. The driver identified as Marquita Rodgers, of Buffalo, who was found to be operating the vehicle with a suspended registration and driver’s license. Additionally, Rodgers was found to have a Felony warrant from the Town of Amherst Court for Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 4th degree. Rodgers was taken into custody and turned over to the Amherst Police Department pending arraignment with Amherst Town Justice.
Troopers stopped a Gray Kia on Fillmore Avenue for passing a Red Light. The driver identified as Devon Banks, age 33 of Williamsville was found to have 3 active warrants from the City of Buffalo Court. Banks had 2 warrants for Aggravated Harassment and 1 for Failure to Pay Fine. Banks was taken to the Erie County holding Center pending arraignment.
