State Police in Watertown arrest Parole Absconder

The State Police in Watertown on arrested Michael J. Desormeau 09-05-88 216 Stewart St. Watertown, NY 13601 on 4 counts of Attempted Petit Larceny, 3 counts of Criminal Mischief 4th, 1 count of Criminal Possession of a Hypodermic Instrument all Class A Misdemeanors. Said defendant did during a course of conduct from 02-08-12 thru 02-17-12 did attempt to steal property from Super Wal-Mart ST-11 T/Leray Jefferson County by removing security devices. Each time the defendant was approached by store security and left the store without property after damaging the security devices. The defendant was identified and arrested without incident 02-17-12. The defendant was additionally charged as a Parole Absconder. The defendant was arraigned in the Town of Leray Court by the Honorable John Hallett and remanded to the Jefferson County PSB with $10,000 bail on the criminal charges and no bail on the Parole revocation.
