Two Arrested In Animal Cruelty Case

(Worcester, NY – February 3, 2012) On February 2, 2012, State Police at Oneonta arrested Frank M. Popolizio, 65, of Schenectady, NY, and Corrinne Kindt, 26, of Esperance, NY, for Cruelty to Animals. Mr. Popolizio, the owner of South Side Stables, was charged with 49 counts of Cruelty to Animals. Ms. Kindt, the manager of the stables, was charged with 7 counts of Cruelty to Animals. The arrests resulted from a month long investigation conducted by the New York State Police with assistance from the Susquehanna SPCA in Worcester, NY. The defendants were arraigned in the Town of Worcester Court and are scheduled to reappear on March 6, 2012.
